Spartacus by Yuri Grigorovich
See Moretext by ELEONORA MALKHASYAN
It seems that all three productions of the ballet Spartacus have been surrounded by no fewer battles than the original slave uprising. Yuri Grigorovich, the choreo-grapher of a recent production, considers these internecine battles to be normal and in defending this point of view, he usually emerges victorious. This pattern of victories continued with his recent production of the ballet in Yerevan, Armenia.
