Falling for Picasso

This past weekend, a woman lost her balance and fell on Picasso’s painting “The Actor” ($130 million) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The fall left a cut at the lower right-hand corner of the painting which was completed in 1905, but museum officials say that it will be treated. The woman did not suffer injuries but was very embarrassed.
Artist Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) is known for his extraordinary art. He is also known for being a womanizer. Many women feel for his charm and mystery. It seems as though even after his death, women continue to fall for him; this time literally. If you’re going to fall, better make it worthwhile. This woman certainly did.
