  Who’s Who in Fashion: Gregory Zarian, From the Small Screen to the Runways of the World.
  “It had just began to drizzle and I was standing in front of the Louvre to, with the jardin des Tuileries to my right. I remember looking up at a tree and saw a small bud, I knew it was spring time in Paris.” Coming from the small bustling city of Glendale, California, Gregory Zarian (www.gregoryzarian.com) embodies the essence of an international model, actor, and motivational speaker. Being discovered while working at a local department store and landed a role on Days of Our Lives. By the time he was in his 20’s, Gregory was scouted by an international agency that sent him out Milan, Italy for campaigns. “My most memorable moment was while I was in Italy my agent called me and told me that I was going to be doing a Lacoste photo shoot in Siena,” Zarian said. “I remember getting off the train and having a car drive me up the windy road up to a villa where I was to stay for the next four days. I did my shoot with international photographers and models that I had seen before. It was then that I knew that I had made it as a model.” Some of the current projects that Gregory is working on is guest starring on an episode of: I Want to Work for Diddy 2 with rapper, entrepreneur Sawn “P. Diddy” Combs, and a cable TV show, Health Line. With world renowned modeling agency Wilhelmina representing him, Gregory has been the Men’s Wearhouse model for the past three years, along with working for such designers as Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, and model Tyra Banks on her hit show, America’s Next Top Model. “As a model you have to pay attention. Because there are a lot of people who just don’t pay attention. And a lot of people only hear what they want to hear and do what they want to do. I’ve had 20 years of experience because I do listen and I do pay attention.” As for advice for aspiring models, “Do it because you want to do it, ask questions, be open to learning, and remember to have fun.” It’s undeniable that Gregory has flare, love for life, and his favorite accessory, his nephew Alexander. But it is his purpose and because of this he has the attitude that drives him each morning to his success.
